Crazy price for sure... They are supposed to be the same price like the others..
Just shop around. Questar is too expensive.
I dealt with them once and will never again. Bought a Glock 23 Gen 4 with a Lone Wolf barrel (106mm) for 999.99 plus taxes and plus shipping(50), then I found the same gun at Sporteque for 819 plus taxes and an IGB barrel, shipping 10 bucks....
Conclusion is P226 is bigger than P229. P229 is newer than P226.
Sporteque is in Drummunville ( halfway between Montreal and Quebec City)
Check at Dante Sports they have the P226 on sale at 925$, they are located in Montreal.
No. I am not going to get the 9mil. I am going to get the .22LR then purchase the 9mm conversion kit. At the end it will cost me the same, but I will have 2 calibres/guns.
So....which store has the best deal for SIG P229 .22LR?
I wish I could offer advice but you seem beyond set in your ways.
**IF NOT, then I'd say get the 9mm first and THEN decide if you want or NEED to shoot it in .22cal, you can always add the .22 cal conversion kit. Most people just keep shooting full calibre rounds. Of the people I know who have a .22 cal in the same or similar pistol - most end up never seeing much range time shooting the .22. It's just not fun once you go full calibre. (But I digress - spend your $$$$$$, it supports the site sponsors)
.
Are all P229 have to have Canadian legal barrel?
So P226 doesn't have this issue I guess?
