DLASK DAR 22 What's your opinion?

Is it a wish that they should bring out a threaded one, or is that something they have announced? I didn't find it on their site.

They are all threaded. You can't see it because of the thread cap.

I assumed what was being discussed was an upgrade where the barrel is threaded to the receiver. This is a common complaint relative to 10/22. Since these dlask receivers and barrels are being bought together by many folks to take advantage of the quality and the factory short barrel options, it seems logical to just thread them together. It's pretty obvious that the muzzle ends are threaded, so I figured the issue was the breech ends?

My mistake. I see now that you are indeed correct, the receiver was very much implied by the topic.

Got to see most of the American aftermarket receivers at the SHOT show today and not once did I think that I would rather have any of them over the Dlask.

We love our DAR22's... they are very well made, precise and shoot flawlessly and with great accuracy... we have two with integral rails, Dlask 12.5" bull barrels, RT trigger, groups, parkerized bolts and tactical charging handles in Boyd's SS Evo stocks... we mounted BSA Contender 4-16X40mm SP MD scopes... we like them so much we are doing two new builds using the DAR22 Sterling receivers with 10" Stainless bull barrels, in Barracuda stocks, with Volquartsen TG2000 groups, Que bolts and RT tactical charging handles;

Off topic I know but, where did you get the RT tactical charging handles from? I've been looking for them.

There Used to be a vendor who sold to Canada, but they have since shut down... we got six of the RT Tactical handles when they were still shipping.

Will the flat top dar22 receiver fit in a sr22 body and the top rail fit back on like stock?

thanks...
No, it doesn't fit the SR-22,
just because of that original top rail of the SR-22.
The DAR receiver has a higher top (thicker) than the Ruger receiver.

Does anyone have a price on the threaded receiver and a 12.5" bull barrel in blued steel to match? The Dlask site simply says "various".

The only barrel offered in this config will be at around 16.5"-17".
The barreled receiver will be perhaps $550 regular price,
but probably with $475 discounted price
for a short period at the very beginning.
These price(s) will not include the internal parts (bolt, spring, trigger group).
You will also need additional inletting/fitting in the stock,
pillar bedding and the works.
I very strongly suggest a Kidd bolt
and an aftermarket (or seriously pimped) TG.

I would politely suggest that
if you are not knee deep into the so-called "ultimate" 10/22's,
or if you are not a semi-auto rimfire "long"-range whore,
then this gun is not for you.
The threaded DAR is NOT a gimmick nor an entry-level rifle.
