Sig PS2022 grip size versus a 1911

It has adjustable sizes to fit slightly smaller but not 1911 small. The only Sig that comes close is the 239, but it's a bit more pricey. ;)

CZ is similar to a 1911 feel, but still bigger.

If you are looking for a polymer framed gun the closest you will find in a double stack 9mm pistol is the Ruger SR9! It is as slim as it gets, and possibly even thinner than a typical 1911 frame. Very nice.

Trigger is another story though. LOL

Since as they say, a pic is worth a 1k words here are some pics for your comparison:

And before anyone has a cow (not that anyone here would :p ) : Finger on trigger only to show relative position. Firearms proved safe. d:h:

Hope it helps. These are three excellent guns and I find them all equally enjoyable to shoot. FWIW I'm most accurate with the SigPro

Thanks for the pictures they really help! The bottum is a 226 right? From the look of picture the 226 and the 1911 are similiar if the sig is in DA. Now I have to decide on a refurb 226 or a new 2022 w:h:

Yep, the bottom is a P226 22LR Classic but will be the same frame size as your run of the mill P226.

The SigPro does come in a DAK (DAO) and from what I've heard it sucks for target use.

There's threads on this I'm sure.

SIG Pro 2022 comes in DA/SA 9 & 40 cal and have a great smooth trigger in DA and short crisp in SA, I love mine a lot!
I'll recommend it always being a reliable and accurate SIG pistol.
This is kind of hard to find pistol, but never said impossible...my 2c

I agree. I have one, and i'm probably never going to part with it. excellent value for the money, and sig reliability. shouldn't have to worry until year 2022 (hence it's dubbed name).

Lots of trials.... no errors.

I wouldn't be too too concerned about finding the perfect first gun.

Back on '08 I thought the glock would be my perfect fit.

I've bought a bunch since then and no regrets. and I've learned a thing or two about shooting.

Fluery, I find Glocks "boxey" if that makes any sense? I used to live in Ottawa before I moved to PEI so we were neighbours.

Any since I started this I decided not to get a nice new 9mm since I recently got a nice 1911 so I went with a Norc Mp22 (226 clone) I figure it'll be fun to shoot, cheap and easy to get my money back out of it. I did pick up a few extra mags. Ebay time for a cheap paddle holster and mag carrier.
