.22LR ammo "made speciffically for semi-auto's" - do we have a verdict yet?

Funny, my marlin semi auto's (60ss & Papoose) cycle everything. They even cycle standard velocity, and my 60ss when clean cycles cci subsonic ammo. The only ammo I've had issues with is Remington, and that's not my guns fault.

I've had problems with the Remington Thunderbolts in a couple of rifles I had. Won't waste my time or money on them anymore. The Vipers and Yellow Jackets work fine.

Mini-mags do not fit in my DAR x-tream barrel. they will not chamber if i was to push it in with my thumb it would not eject.

Joe Dlask recommends AE/Winny bulk or Federal 711B in his Bentz match chambers... but we had Joe open the chambers slightly to allow the use of CCI SV`s and Mini-Mags... and they perform flawlessly with them.

Blazers ... no such luck.

And that's without opening it up, just straight factory bentz style from Dlask.

I have heard many say that their DAR22`s won't reliably cycle CCI rounds with Dlask`s standard Bentz chamber... since we shoot CCI almost exclusively, I had Joe chamber specifically for them...

Did you do any polishing of your chamber???

I have used 5 bricks of Federal Bulk .22 Long Rifle Ammunition 525 rounds Loaded with 36-gr. copper-plated hollow-point bullets muzzle velocity up to 1,260 fps. I have only had 2 rounds out of 2625 rounds that had a Fail to fire. This ammo cycles flawless in my Ruger 10 22. $25.00 at walmart.

Did you do any polishing of your chamber???

No, just the usual break in with AE 40g (shoot some, clean it, repeat) till I hit around 1000rds. Then a thorough cleaning with solvent and bore brush, swab etc. Switched to Blazers and wouldn't shoot them reliably, so I stopped and switched to mini mags, haven't looked back.

My Dlask doesnt like the CCI Sub sonics, Remington subs no problem at all, mini mags no problem at all. Win target seemed to be ok, that's all I've tried in it so far, a couple of boxes of each to break it in.

Another note on the CCI Subs, they are way louder then the Rem subs.

Agree! Use this on a semi Winchester 77, a 60 yr old rifle with no issue and its accurate at 100 mtrs. Just love this ammo.
