BAR, Garand, Swedish BAR's and blah blah blah about pistol grips

If I were to get a BAR, I would like one with a carrying handle, bipod, free-standing pistol grip and chambered in 30.06.

Very cool.

Not sure the fella is correct about everything but he does raise a few interesting points.

My Grandpa was a Bren gunner with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles (served from Juno beach, liberation of Holland, then guarded prisoners in Bermuda) so I always like to see more stuff about Bren guns.

I like the one with the Cutts compensator & short barrel - Colt Monitor? The lucky chump had 2 of them; and I dont' even have one!  :( :p

There are pics of AK fighters leveling a BAR against the enemy.

Above BAR is very likely Polish made wz.1928 on licence from FN and build in PFK Warsaw.

It's amazing how much of pre-war armament was stashed away in 1939 for later use.

lots of cool pics but whoever wrote it was sure on glue, that's exactly what I'd want to hold onto all day long, a 30 cal full powered 8-10 lb automatic rifle. Anyone say outa control?
