I was in TSE today not looking for anything particular and ended up buying a NUTAC 1/2 point sling.

Made in Canada (Didsbury, AB; to be exact).

It's basically the same as the Magpul MS3, the only major difference I can see is that some of the attachment hardware is different (but still pretty high quality).

I'm happy with it, for sure; if for no other reason than it's made in Canada by Canadians.

For whatever reason, they don't list it on their website, but TSE had a dozen or so in stock for $65.

For that price you can get a padded Vickers sling ;)

In use by the RCMP, CF, multiple Canadian LE teams, the Dutch Army and multiple US units/agencies.

Do some sales on it, I am looking for 2 rifles, but spending 80 $ per one is too much

There are sales on right now on the ATACs, Multicam and OD slings ;)

As well we sold 16,000 Vickers slings last year and have trouble keeping up to demand, not really the best time to put something on sale :D

I don't usually buy stuff with a "name" attached to it.

What kind of firearms do you shoot?

Is it made in Canada?

It's made in Pooler, GA.

If you can find one of these in 1.25" width you can convert a Vickers sling to function like a MS3 but much better constructed.

So far I can only find the 1" version of this component under the VTAC brand....so your VTAC sling can be converted.

Could one of the vendors PLEASE get some of the 1.25" wide 2to1 point triglides into Canada???

So.... basiclly your saying its a knock off of the MS3 sling??
So is this liek the CP gear knocking offf the blue forces gear slings.
Does not make me proud to be canadian does it..
Maybe thats why TSE does not have it on there website, just a guess.

So you normally go for cheap, budget No Name brand stuff? There's something to be said about buying name brand stuff... I.e. if you buy a Daniel Defence DDM4 then you know you'll be getting something thats works, is battle proven, and super durable (DDM4 Torture test)

I read NUTSAC real quick
Glad I'm not the only one....

I don't think he means name brand, but endorsed by someone. IE the Vickers sling is named after Larry Vickers.

You're right..... Need to employ those reading skills better, however... If they named they named the Vickers sling something else would it make that much of a difference? All I'm saying is, does it really matter who's name is on it? Or who endorses it?
