New Pistol

Hi folks,
I like to buy a new pistol but hesitate between a S&W 41and a Beretta 87 target .
I would like to put a red dot sight on it .

What do you think about these pistols.

I already own a Browning Medalist,a Browning Challenger and a Ruger MKll.

The 41 is what i would consider the superior pistol, but i think you'd be sent straight to hell for putting a red dot on it, so buy an italian gun instead:D
 
I used to own a target 87 and its a fantastic gun. The 41 has been around a long time, but for me I like the modern look of the Beretta and it has the rails for red dot or laser/flashlight. Not a huge fan of the slide but wish I still had it.

Wow that pistol is a nice looking one.. I might have to add one to my collection...

i've had a challenger,sold it for a 41. it's a step up ,with the right ammo, it's prone to stove piping. i still use it as a back up to my gsp
 
Thank you very much for the answers, I think I will go with the S&W 41.

I like it .I will probably try to exchange my Medalist for a 41.I will make the offer on EE tomorrow.

I prefer to put a red dot on the 41 than the Medalist.
