Are you going to get anymore of these? , and how well do they work?
They are back ordered, sorry.
Ryan
I have a mossberg tactical 22, in a 25 shot mag. I have three issues with the gun so far from my experience shooting it.
1. The magazine has a loose feel when fully inserted in the gun,
2. To strip the gun apart can be a little bit of a pain because of the screws on the polymer shell. ( especially if you have attachments on the gun)
3. Not sure if it is because of low grade .22lr ammo I'm using, but I am experiencing a lot of failure to eject and failure to load. ( I use the bulk boxes of 525 rounds blazers)
yea i've heard it's important to try premium .22lr with that mossberg.
over the life youll save if you buy an sr22, use whatever ammo you like, dont have to clean it everytime you shoot off 150 rounds, save on patches, solvent, ammo. And the sr22 is only like 200 more
Hey Ryan,
Any chance of getting the regular all metal 15 shot (I think) mags as they seem to have no reliability issuses in this rifle.
The factory mag is 10-round
Thanks for the info!
Anybody know where you can pick up 10 round mags for a decent price?
In terms of the 25rd mags being loose I simply applied a small 1cm wide, 1-2mm thick strip of adhesive foam weather sealing, works perfectly.
I've had a lot of luck with the bulk 525 Federal in my Mossberg. Winchester's seemed to be nearly non-functional in it, with FTF's occurring every other round (bullet gets bent in the brass and jams). The Federal has the occasional maybe 1 in a 100 hiccup but it's hardly noticeable.

The benefit of the "cheap plastic" Mossberg versus a beautiful .22 AR to me is the fact that it's non-restricted and I can use it at the range or in a field blasting gophers.
Eventually I do plan on buying an actual AR and have a .22LR upper for it, because this doesnt scratch the itch; it only delays the desire a bit.
All in all it's cheap and fun for everyone to shoot.
