Just want to ask if anyone knows the going rate for a BushMaster 16” Modular Carbine with Skeleton Stock? I have no case for it just one mag. It's in really good condition. I will be putting it up for sale soon.

Thanks,
CF

A Bushmaster XM-15 will easily go for $1350; not sure if yours is similar. XM-15s go up on the EE every now and again, but you have to act fast because they don't generally last long.

Bushmaster is a very high quality AR for the price - you have to go up to a Knights Armament to get a quantum leap in quality, and you'll pay through the nose for it.

If this was 1996 again, you might be right. Bushmaster was considered an affordable alternative to Colts back in the day. Now? Not so much. There's plenty of other players in the market that have superior quality for the same price as what Bushmasters go for.

There's no way in Hell a used Bushmaster is worth that amount of money. Look around, man. You can buy a brand new Bushmaster for that or less.

Personally, if it's in absolutely minty shape with low round count, I wouldn't pay any more than $800-$900 for it. And I'd be reluctant at that.

Yep the price tag on a .223 BM in the States was $950 from a somewhat high end public and LEO supplier. That by the way was retail.

If it makes any difference I did sell mine for $1300 about 6 months ago (it was an XM15-E2S). It was mint cond. and did have all upgraded Magpul furniture on it.

I would say 1000- 1150 dollars. New Bushmasters I've seen with 16 inch barrel, not sure about 14 inch barrel, sell for around 1400-1475. This is with the fixed stock. I have a 16 inch Bushmaster and it shoots everything with no problems.
