Hi all,

I was doing some searching and I came across this.

"If it says USA, it is USA made.
If it has USA markings and says made in Italy, It is an Italian gun imported and finished in USA (with USA compliance parts).

Italian guns will not have lawyer proof markings, or USA anywhere on the gun."

If this is the case and there is such thing as an Italian made Beretta 92FS with no USA markings anywhere on the gun then where can I buy one?

I have been looking all over but most of the websites don't say where they are made.

Thanks

Edit: I'm looking for a Black, Bruniton finish model.

Current batches of 92FS seem to be Made in Italy with the ugly READ MANUAL BEFORE USE on the frame.

Buy used if you want an Italian made one without the marking.

Oh really? Thanks for the info, I have seen a picture of that, pretty ugly for sure.

i bought mine from wanstalls recently, it was italian...not that i really cared.

I gave them a call, they have imported by U.S.A. according to Wanstalls marked on them, clearly that does not matter to you but I would like to get one with only Italian markings like in the link I posted above.

According to the other post I read, if they have the U.S.A. import markings then "It is an Italian gun imported and finished in USA (with USA compliance parts)" For whatever silly reason I have made up my mind I don't personally want that model.

I don't know how to post pictures but I will give it a shot.

If I can, I would like to get one in Black without the U.S.A markings like this one.

ya i checked my 92fs and it has the USA marking...hmm curiously enough my 92A1 does not have USA on it anywhere...

Hmm, that is funny. How do you like the 92A1 compared to the 92FS, I understand its internals are the same as the 90two?

i like it better due to the utility of having a rail, and the ability to put aftermarket front sights on it... but both shoot and feel about the same.

plus i've always been a fan of a straight dust cover design (ie older 92fs, m9 or a1).

the 92a1 has pretty much exactly the same slide markings as the inox you posted above. except is says MOD. 92A1 - CAL. 9x19...

here are my girls lol:

That is a very nice collection!

I keep finding lots with the manufacture's # J92F300. It seems like these are the Italian made models which have the U.S.A. import markings and U.S.A. polymer parts.

Anyone know what the manufacture's # is for the Italian made model with no U.S.A. import markings and the steel parts instead of the U.S.A. polymer parts, in black finish?

From the good old days when folks didn't have to be told NOT to shot themselves with 15 rounds.

Pretty to look at but at the range it's the Glock 17 :)
