Cz858 in The Matrix

I have it on in the background while I type, great movie, love the mini-gun part. The scene where Neo asks for guns, lots of guns, just as he picks one up from the rack, on his very left (your right) are five Cz858s. You can see them on the right here:

Now if these firearms are "loaded" from a program , are they supposed to show wear marks on the mags ? The second one from the right looks abused. Would they jam or run out of ammo ? Infinite rnds without mag changes would be just a program tweak on the Matrix. Food for thought.

I think those are the restricted version. The non-restricted has about 3 inches more barrel.

Those are 100% assuredly NOT CZ858's.

They are VZ-58's. There IS a difference.

Nope, American version with a welded muzzle break to bring the barrel over 16".

Very cool observation, OP. I also like that it's the rifle used by the girl at the end of Full Metal Jacket. Good old 58.

Most first person shooters have textures that make the weapon look used. It seems reasonable to me a software simulation of the world would do the same thing.
