MDT TAC 21 or AI AX stock?!?

I recently purchased 2 tac 21 chassis direct from mdt. Installation was easy. Maybe an hour. Lazlo from MDT was really easy to deal with. Depending what you are after, the butt stock and grip and rail/s can be expensive or not. I purchased a hogue grip locally for $20 bucks, and a nice butt stock, buffer tube and castle nut for $120. Rails were $6 each off e-bay. all the attaching hardware necessary came with the package. Overall quality seems very nice. Initial thoughts after trip to the range was really good ergonomics and accuracy. Due to my experience, I can offer very positive
feedback on the TAC-21 chassis, fit and finish and magazine quality. Im sure you would be happy with either choice.

Id rather pay less for the chassis and be able to pick which parts id want, thatd be the way to do it i figure for the mdt

If it's a entire AI built rifle on an AX system anyone tring to tell you that its not the cream of the crop hard as nails & a tac driver rolled into one is just blowing smoke up you know were.
TAC-21 chassis is nice but when compared to a complete AX rifle from AI there is no comparison
Period.

ax aics = high end tactical upgrade from a battlefield proven company, tac21= tacticool upgrade, very nice looking, lots of ar15 attachment options but not a fair comparison. aics hands down, just my two cents

you do know its just a piece of aluminum with two pieces of plastic bolted on the side right


the Tac 21 is a CANADIAN made all aluminum chassis and takes an battle proven part the AR can take,all its missing is the folder option

they are both fantastic, its not an easy choice...solid..canadian made..less expencive, i want one for my .223
 
I am building a rifle for myself and another 5 of them for other cgn members on tac 21 stocks. These are well made, Canadian, quick to get with no long wait periods and super cool looking. Whats not to like?

What does a Tac 21 do that a traditional stock such as an A5 (adjustable LOP and comb) won't?

It's a crime what AI charges for their stocks!
