your powder choice 243 65grn

Have ruger ultra light 243 and going to start to reload for it.
Have hornady 65 grn bullets. Win primers.

Not looking for huge velocity but efficient burn/consistency in a 20 inch barrell.

What IMR or Hodgins would you think would fit best?

I am getting god results with IMR4064 and the 58g vmax, out of my Savage.

Second on 4064, I load it with 65gr v-max. I don't push them past 3400 and change.

Good results with them seated on top of Varget.

I have great dependable loads with IMR4895. It's a medium burn rate powder that can be used in tons of loads, without worry of excessive pressures.

Well sometimes life makes tough decisions easy. I havent loaded in 20 years and am pulling boxes of stuff out ( lottsa forgotten treasures ) and come upon 3/4 pound of 4350 that I was using for my 300win.

Little slower than what I was thinking but gonna give it a go!
