KCI Glock mags

Who's using them? Do you like them? Are they internally "pinned"?
I've got a couple for my G-17, and I've been having nothing but problems with them. They have a pop-rivet for a pin and it seems to interfere with the mag well when ejecting the mag. Is this "how they are" or are mine part of a hokey batch?
 
I have 8 of these mags along with 5-6 of the factory 10/17 mags.

They are pinned on the spine with a rivet.

Take a dremel to the back of the rivet and smooth / flatten the top till they can drop free.
 
Mine all worked fine after a little attention with the jeweler file, just file a little and test then file some more and test till you get just enough removed so they drop.

I tried 8 different ones and they're so inconsistent that they were worthless to me. Some would almost drop free, others would need to be pulled out by hand. And it had nothing to do with the rivet, it was the mag body itself.

I only have Glock mags now.

Same here, tried them, went back to Glock only now.
 
I have 2 KCI and 2 glock mags, they all work perfectly.
They are all pop rivited and drop free the way they should.

I have heard the baseplate on KCI's is prone to breaking if dropped onto a hard surface especially with some rounds in the mag.
Just something to think about if you have some, I reserve mine for target shooting.
 
Bought 2 of them. They didn't fit well in my G17. I tried to return them but the guy who owns the store I bought them from got arrested. My loss I guess....does anyone want to trade 2 KCI mags for 1 Glock mag? I'll even throw in the mag pouch that they came with.

I'll trade you a factory Glock 10 rounder for 2 KCI 10/17 mags with mag pouch.
Most of my factory Glock mags have only been used a couple times so they are like new.

I'm sorry to hijack but just for the record. My KCI mags have now been traded x 1million. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
