So I've had my name on a list for a GP100 since early December. It was supposed to be my Christmas present. My patience is all but worn out and I've yet to read anything about a backorder for this pistol. I've done a cursory search of the site sponsors and it seems to me that CRAFM has the best price at $624.99. Does anyone know of a dealer with a better price point that has one in stock? I'm all for supporting the local guy, but I will only wait so long. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you could always try the EE. There's always GP-100's there. Usually priced about (or above!) the price of new, though

Yeah, I would be done with waiting too. Lots of places to get them, as mentioned. A few are always on the EE, but they are practically (or actually) more than the price of a new one.

Check out Roger at Shooters Choice Alberta he has one of the best prices and a great guy to deal with. Remember his posted price includes the Taxes.

Did u check EPPS ? Not SS but close.
NGH53724 RUGER GP100 BLUED (GP141) REVOLVER DOUBLE .357 MAG 4.2" FULL SHROUD BBL, BLUED FINISH, RUBBER WITH SYNTHETIC GRIPS, ADJUSTABLE SIGHTS N 602.04 R

Just got from them in SS the S&W 686 4.2" superior quality compare to Ruger but costs a bit more, they will match prices if you bring in the add from anywhere in Canada.

Wolverine did have them for $599, that's what I got mine for last Sept, free shipping that month :D, but I noticed today while I was ordering a Sig, that the GP100 has gone up $66. so now its $665....don't know why, but the days of sub $600 are gone I think.

I saw that one and it's showing out of stock. Epps has a blues 4.2 and three stainless 6" models. I asked again if there was any news on my order and they hadn't heard a thing. Shooters choice is a decent price assuming 13% hst but if it's only the 5% gst in Alberta it's a little high. That being said, they're the only ones showing anything in stock. I have yet to touch base with CRAFM to see if it's in stock.

What's a decent rate to expect to pay for shipping from a dealer? Just curious as my collection has all been picked up in person.

Prairie Gun Trader ships handguns no charge. Give Darren a call, maybe worth while.

Just an update. I'm surprised no one appears to have these in stock. I'm still waiting on my original order and it feels as if they've all been sold out nationwide.

Bringing this back to life any updates on the availability of the Stainless model and best price in Canada?

Keep your eyes open, one's bound to turn up eventually. I took my nephew to the range the other day and almost had to kick him in the arse to get my GP-100 back from him!!:p They're a nice revolver.

They certainly are! I just got some custom rosewood grips from Hogue (finger grove, no checkering), just in time for my birthday. Looking forward to trying them out. For those who have converted, is there an appreciable difference in felt recoil with the wood vs stock rubber Hogue grips?
