Well i finally managed to get around to uploading my hunting pictures it was a pretty wild hunting trip. So I just figured i would share the buck i got this year. It isnt the biggest buck but it is definitely the coolest one I have ever shot. Out for mounting right now.

I shot one a few years ago with a nice 5 point rack on one side(the side I saw), would have been a 140-150 score. I shot it through a gap in some fairly heavy forest and when I got there the other side was like a mauled up arthritic hand.

Still tasted good, but the rack sure looked funny.
 
Now all you need to do is reanimate the critter, set up a captive breeding program and corner the market on Unicorn Meat.

Very cool. Could you see the oddball antler on the live animal, or was it a surprise when you walked up on it?

Yeah actually a lot of character all around I wish I would have taken more detailed pictures because he was definitely a fighter. On the underside of the his jaw the fur had actually grown in around the jaw bone with about 4 inches of bone actually exposed.

And I definitely had no idea that spike was there until I walked up. But let me tell you I sure was grinning after i picked my jaw up off the ground. No regrets taking him.
