Honor Guard SKS in chrome

definitely a collector piece. i'd display it for sure, might gain value with time. Everyone keeps painting or modifying their sks's there aren't going to be a lot of originals left.

You can sometimes find the Polish SKS sock on Ebay. They use Russian SKS's. Just change the stock. I know a CGNer who has one.

I saw one for sale here at least over 5 years ago going for around $600 and saw at least one on Gunsamerica going for less than $500 but importing it into Canada was too complicated for me.

Would love to have one to add to my collection.

For the chinese honor guard...
Can you figure how much it will cost to doing such a project ???
You must strip all the parts to bare metal...
Then zinc plated everything...
Thats alot of time and money...
IMO this would be a thousand bucks SKS...

For the Polish, thats really easy...
Strip the shelac from a ruskie laminate stock, then refinish it with oil finish.
Polish the bolt and bayonet and you are almost there.

I wanted to do it to my SKS but couldn't justify it.
