Need hunting mentor

Mentoring does have its risks. We've had a few new hunters show up at the camp that proved to be a liability: in particular, shooting at unproven targets, and shooting excessively and wildly. Not a pleasant feeling when your dogging... You never know what someone is going to do when the see a deer for the first time, gun in hand.

Back to the OP (Who seems to have gone missing) You haven't answered as to whether you have the required accreditation to hunt with
the various people who have offered their services in this thread.

i dont as of yet have a licence but in march/may i am planning on doing a hunting ed course at Silverdale and then hopefully i will have my licence for next season, ie oct/nov/dec.

Do it in march, try to get your turkey done too, then come back and ask for a mentor
While you're at it, find yourself a shotgun, and practice, sporting clays or 5 stand I find tend to be good
