I will have a pre-order page up in early March. Price is still to be determined. I started a wait list about 2 weeks ago and its grown quickly: one reason I doubled my initial production run.

Yes to Medium Pattern barrels, no to Heavy Patterned barrels.

For those with heavy barrels or wanting to go that route, troy MCS accepts all barrels and I think sage has a new version for the heavy. BOTH are darn near unobtainium.
The ICR line up of composite stocks, including the AR15 grip/buttstock compatable M14S-CQB, accepts all M1A/M14 barrel profiles as well as all M1A/M14 handguard rails. The stock is the lightest stock availlable in canada, offers rails for sides and bottom. While these stocks are designed for drop in fit, the stocks are able to be NM bedded to your action, just one of the many benefits of composite over aluminum chassis, never mind the absolute weight savings.
