Scope Mount for Enf 303

There's a weaver mount specifically for these rifles. You drill 3 or 4 holes and it fits right on, it even comes with the shim you need. I believe the mount is about $30.00 and you use dovetail rings.

I know because I have one on my No.1 and it's awesome

Look under EX-MILITARY then pitcures roll down to the bottom of the page it is a scout mount.

where would i get a scope mount for 303 enfield no1 mk3 Can you even mount scopes on these things, if so how?

S&K. A whole lot better than drilling and tapping and completely reversible.
Fastens to the charging bridge with a wedge and 1/4" allen bolt in front and to the rearsight axis at the rear. Very ridgid.
PP.

Most guys I know that have used that "no gunsmithing" mount for the No 1 and No 4 rifles have hated it.

The weaver TO-1 needs two holes in the receiver at the front and 1 in the charger bridge. Very solid but is a dove tail mount so not ideal for a full power cartridge.
I've got a picatinny rail mount that fits the No 1 MK3 using the same hole pattern as the weaver TO-1.
Haven't put it into any kind of production yet but have made several and all have proved to be bomb proof.
If there's any adventurous cnc capable gunnutz out there that want to work with me on a small run, drop me a p.m. ;)

We are talking NO1 MK3 rifle here and the S & K mounts are solid made of steel and hold (0) which is backed by S & k mounts.

This mount works for a No.1, but not for a No.4 or No.5. Just describing it as an Enfield might also mean a Pattern 1914 or Model 1917 ... Inquiring minds need to know before suggesting.

Put me down for a No 4 Mk 1 mount if you ever get any up and running Doc! I've seen your work and pics .. I am a fan (where is my giant foam hand when I need it)..

Thanx, I'm blushing hehehe
Been so busy with making rifle stocks and buildin rifles, hard to keep on top of the side projects. I've been coaxing a machinist buddy of mine for a couple years now to join my business. He's finishing up the last leg of school, upgrading to cnc. Once he's done I hope to have him and his machines moved into my shop :D
If that fails I'll send the prototypes and drawings to Jeff at NEA ;)
