Just got this in the mail today and threw some parts I had laying around on it.

As it sits:
Aimpoint T1 Micro with low mount
B&T top rail
B&T bottom rail
Larue vertical grip with quick disconnect
CanadaAmmo cheek rest.

For everyone out there with a Swiss Arms rifle, I remember reading on a thread that someone had problem's with their CanadaAmmo cheek rest's fitment, and problem's that it would not let the folding stock lock up due to the rest being too beefy. I have not had these problems, my stock when folded locks right onto the hook with the cheek rest installed. The only difference I have noticed is that the Canadaammo.com cheek rest is a little bit heavier than the B&T rest. Fitment is great, it does not move around whatsoever. For anyone not looking to spend $250 on the B&T rest, I would go for the CanadaAmmo one when they recieve more stock, I am super happy with it.

Beautiful carbine you've got there... I'm looking into getting the non-restricted Black Special myself. I just love the way these babies shoot!

It's a Swiss Arms, I agree, keep it simple.

I've got a Black Special (550 length) and had always considered getting a 552/CQB, but couldn't justify it due to the 552 gas system being inferior to there big brother rifles.

Now that they have 553/CQB's available at the Shooting edge, I will be getting one of those instead. Someday anyway. The 552's are still awesome from what I hear, but I figure they wouldn't have switched to the 553 if there weren't some serious problems with the 552's.

All that being said, I still want it:D

It would go along great beside it's big brother in the safe.

??? The 55X is prohibited. Might want to check your facts.

The CQB would look a lot better without the cheek rest. Cheek rest on a CQB seems strange to me on a functional level as well.

It's beautiful. I shot one at Borden CQB once, what a pleasure to shoot! I love the ping noise. Very accurate and high quality piece of craftsmanship!

Swiss Arms CQB is my favourite gun of all time. You've got yourself an awesome firearm. Word of advice, the B&T quad rails are heavy, if that's something you're considering. You've done the right thing by putting a bottom rail on the factory hand guard. Other nice additions are the B&T side rails, and the 3 position collapsible Swiss Arms stock (pricey but worth it in my opinion). I agree with Beltfed... you don't need a cheek piece if you are sticking with the T1.

I know what your saying, the cheek rest does make the line of sight through the T1 a bit too high, and I did notice that the sight picture is a little cramped with the front sight loop in there, I'm going to look into getting rid of it.
Thanks for the input!

You know what he is talking about. Swiss Arms even calls them by that name and they ship with manuals with those numbers on them. I HATE it when people state the obvious!

Thank you Angryeyebrows, of course he knew what I was talking about. Everyone else did too.

How else are we to differentiate between a 552 and a 553 gas system without refering to the rifles by those numbers. A 552 is called a Black Special/Classic Green CQB, but a 553 is named the same thing, so without calling them by those numbers, how the hell is anyone supposed refer to them and expect anyone to know which one he's talking about?

I also own a CQB model; sweet gun. easy recoil, accurate, feels like a serious zombie buster, and I like the fact its made of metal. have not tried it beyond 50 yards yet, even though the sights are adjustable up to 300 yards, my outdoor range is only up to 200 :(
thought the price of these would have gone down, but local retailers have increased the price by about 10% (they claim its the manufacturers), putting them close to $4k in my neck of the woods...glad I paid less for mine.
