Tikka T3 stainless bolt shroud

Here's something I'd like to pass along to anyone that has a Tikka T3 and is looking to replace the factory bolt shroud. I just bought this one off eBay. Unlike the other ones currently available this one is stainless steel, not aluminum, and it matches the finish of the rifle perfectly. It also comes in black. The seller is in Norway and for $60 including shipping it was delivered to my door in a week. The workmanship and fit are perfect....I'm very happy with it.

I like the shroud that I got from Flick, too, but I have to admit that a shroud in SS that matches the rifle's finish would be kind of nice.

Any idea if it will fit a Sako A7

The bolt shroud from a Sako 85 will fit the A7.

I don't know if it will fit an 85 or an A7 but according to JJ-65 if it fits one it will fit the other. (Thanks) I would suggest asking the seller.

I've heard that the ones made by Flick are great too but I just thought I'd point out these stainless ones as well. I know I prefer the stainless one because it's the same material and the match is perfect.

Tikka223 - It's a perfect fit. The tolerances were very tight....extremely well made. I put a bit of oil on it before installing it. It was a bit tight going on but nothing to be concerned about. Very impressed with it.

I think those t-3 shroulds are actually made in Canada by Knut Lee in Pritchard B.C. He has a cnc machine co. and sends 100s into Norway. I have seen the exact one pictured. He has no retail store. At 60.00 the seller is not making much money. Good buy. So, some of your money is staying in Canada.
