Op Rod Guide Replacement

Dont fit

It depends what you order.
I just order a bunch of stock parts, M1A buttpads, an oprod guide (not a guide rod), and an M1A bolt roller set. Zero issues from brownells, order was under 100

And I think that reagrdless of jumping thru hoops and paperwork, because Sadlak let the export cert for the guide rod expire, it can't be exported to canada , period.

BTY the Brownell butt pads dont fit. The stock bottom bolt is about 1 inch too short and I cant seem to find a longer one that will work. Any ideas?
Had no problem importing it along with a spring recoil pad tools etc. order was under $100.

The threads on the bottom bolt are a fine pitch that isnt easy to find , I had the nut rethreaded to a comman thread pitch and used a bolt instead.I ground down the head of the bolt on a bench grinder until it was round on the sides instead of hexagon shaped .I then cut a slot in the head so a flat tippped screwdriver would turn it .Painted the head of it and it worked great , and took about 5 min to make .

NOT TRUE. I just received my SADLAK NM op-rod spring guide a week or so ago from TreelineM14 .com They are great to deal with, ship really fast and HAVE A $500.00 LIMIT to international exports as opposed to the usual $100.00 limit. I also just received, days ago, another order of USGI M14 internal parts...total order value was almost $200.00 It can absolutely be done (shipping firearms parts internationally that is) but most business use the export law as an excuse...they just don't want to go through the trouble to set it up for whatever reason. The only thing they can not send up to us is barrels, complete trigger assys, and complete actions.

Interesting.

I just looked at their site and they have some great stuff but in their "Terms and Conditions" they state they only ship to the US. Did you give them a call first?

UPDATE: I just contacted TreelineM14.com and they confirmed that they do ship all their M-14 parts to Canada (minus actions, barrels and bolts).

But actions, barrels, and bolts are the best parts :(

One time a girl told me my best attribute was how I liked star trek, I didn't know how to take that one :(

Hi,

I was wondering which brand is considered the best upgrade. There's M14 Doctor and NEA in Canada. Marstar is discontinued.

Then in the US they have USGI, SAI, Sadlak...

What do you guys run and prefer? NEA is out of stock, so is the M14doc a better alternative or are the American ones better?

We're stocked up and kicking them out for $27.50. ;)

Check in to our dealer section for info.

WOW that's a freakin bargain on a must do m14 upgrade!!!
I've handled and installed a few of the NEA guide rods now for customers who have sent them in with their rifles. Nice product, slick and simple and the best part is the near perfect drop in and go fit ;)

We sold over 100 of them in 2 hours.. We've got some heading to dealers next week, We'll restock ourselves at a later date.

I believe SFRC, TSC and TSE all have mag releases in stock (?). Bolt releases I think are out just about everywhere again.

Sometimes...but to be honest the chrome lined Norc barrels are pretty damn good for what ya get. I know chrome barrels are not synonymous with supreme accuracy (ESPECIALLY IF YOU REAM THE CHAMBER) but they are with longevity. And to be realistic, I wouldn't have bought an M14 (American OR Chinese...especially American...RIP OFF!) if I was looking for supreme accuracy.

But will you visit them in prison? ;)
