pretty simple to make your owm from paraffin. Lots of info on internets. I have had a lot of fun with wax or rubber projectiles. I cant get them to cycle in an auto, revolvers work better. Just remember to drill out the flash holes or your cylinder will lock up when the primer backs out.

I used to practice fast draw many years ago and making wax bullets was very easy. Simply push the empty cartridge case through a block of parrafin and presto you have a wax bullet! It is important to drill out the flashhole and use Magnum primers. Also, you must leave the priming last or compressed air will cause the wax bullet to back out of the case.
These loads are reasonably accurate up to about 15 to 20 feet. They are also VERY MESSY.

The Cast Boolits site has a thread or two in "casting" bullets from hot glue.

If you are talking about the primers backing out, i beleive it happends because under normal firing conditions, some of the force generated by the round going off helps to hold the ass end of the casing tight against the breech face. I am not 100% sure why but when firing ultra-light projectiles such as wax, rubber or wood, unless you drill out the flash hole to the same size as the primer, once fired the primer always moves out of the casing about .100"
Good warning about marking the casings! i have never tried it but i am sure the pressure curve would be drastically altered if drilled out casings were used for normal reloading.

Correction, you want to open up the primer hole but not all the way to the same diameter. You still need a step on the inside so the little three legged anvil inside the primer has something to sit against. Otherwise the strike will just push the anvil in and you won't get a pinch to set off the primer.
Spawn-Inc, the primers have a pretty good puff of their own. And as explained they'll push out of the casing if the hole is small enough to let it build up a high pressure pulse. When there's powder and a proper bullet the pressure in the case forces the case back against the breech face and the primer doesn't have enough pressure to push outwards. Or any initial movement it had will be stopped by the pressure of the charge against the bigger area at the back of the case pushing harder on the breech than what the primer can generate or see from the pressure coming back through the flash hole.
