I have a m1 garand that I always like to take shooting. Being in the only one in my group of shooting friends with one, they all like to try it. So I have to teach each on how to load the enblocs and insert them. So basically wondering if anyone knows where to get 30-06 dummy rounds, so I can show them without using live ammo. Just looking for a cheap alternative to spending 50+ bucks on snap caps.

If you're into whittling a bit, you can take an empty shell, carefully drill some holes into them crosswise (to visually show that it's a dud), and use whittled dowels as bullets. If you make the duds as long as a loaded shell, it should work.

can i legally ship dummy rounds? i load 30.06, and i bet i can load you some brass and bullets and ship them cheaper than those things costs. bullets are 45 cents a piece for the amax's i shoot, brass ive got lots of so i dont mind giving you a few pieces if itll help you out, and no primer no powder means theyre even cheaper.

That would be perfect, I'm not sure about the legality of it. Don't think it would be an issue, since ammo can be shipped by anyone if you use the right courier.

where are you located?
if you wanna check with canada post about shipping blank ammo ill make you up a handful at whatever my cost is plus whatever shipping may be.

alright good to know. i should have my next batch of bullets by next weekend ill make you a few and send them out your way. shoot me your shipping info and once i get them out ill let you know what shipping set me back. shouldnt be much to get them out to you

Shipping inert ammunition is fine but Canada Post forbids any "replica munitions" so you will need to use a courier service.
