I have a 14.5" NEA 15 that I plan to use for 3-gun this year. I'm going to keep the stock that it came with for now. It has a loop for a sling on the stock, and the hole in the rail for the QD swivel attachment.

Is there any benefit to a single point sling for 3-gun, or would this setup be fine?

Dave, try a few of them...I prefer the Vickers or other quick adjust two point, I don't like muzzle flopping around on my rifle when I transition to a pistol...but I have seen others train and run a single point quite handily...

Blue Force Gear Vickers Sling.

2 Point adjustable only way to go.

To fit with your rifle go with the DDM4 VCAS. It has the push button on the front and will fit into the collapsible butt stock without any further attachments.

Cool! Looks good, but it appears that the model with the push button is discontinued, unless my Google-fu is just weak today.

The DDM4 would work perfectly with the NEA rifle. I have 1 left in black right now.

In the push button VCAS (front and back) I have OD, black and coyote.

With any of the VCAS though you can just add a bare push button to the front.

Thanks! I'll take that DM44. I just need to surf your site and figure out what else to add to the order. (no sense paying for shipping on just one item. LOL)

Try out a couple and see what you comfortable with and what fits your shooting style best. I homemade several of them (including an adjustable 2 point) to get an idea of what worked for me.

I'm going to try this one, and see how it goes. I won't really be able to test it out until 3-gun starts. It's really the only time that type of shooting is possible at the range, unless a guy is there alone, but that still may be against the rules. I'll have to check.

I think that's going to be the tough one when it comes to practicing for 3-gun.

Boonie Packer 2P-TQA. Very similar to a Vickers but they only cost $19 with free shipping. Only available in black but for that price you can't really complain.

 trust me the real BFG sling is bomb proof and worth the extra$

And you can trust me, my Boonie Packer is bomb proof as well and worth every penny I spent on it.

Boonie Packer have been making quick adjust slings for decades.

Regardless, I'd be looking at any kind of quick adjust 2pt sling, be it a Boonie Packer model, BFG VCAS or a Viking Tactics VTAC two point.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I ordered the BFG VCAS from OST. :)

It's snowing like a SOB here today, so a guy might as well shop for gun stuff. LOL

I use a BFG single point sling, with the many different universal and specific attachment's available I can use one sling for all of my guns... even though I do set my guns up with thier own sling.

after all, I am wearing the rifle for a course of fire.. then it goes back on the cart ... i am not carrying it slung all day.

Where are the BFG adapters listed on the OSTS site? They used to be listed on their own section.

EDIT: now they are listed on the bottom of the page when you select a sling.
