Hey Gang...

Decided to move up from my Norc M4 to a US made rifle. A new 14.5 LMT DI with a SOPMOD stock. Was on sale....ended up gettin her $700 off :) What can I expect with this rifle? Good fit/finnish?...shoots well? Whats LMT's Customer service like and where do they rank in the AR scheme of things?
Would like to hear from a few owners if possible... I hope I made a good choice.
Cheers

Edit... Had a few pm's asking about the $700 off. Firstly... Questar's regular price was $2299, on sale for $1889... $410 savings there, Week long %10 off savings.."$210" and a $100 police and military discount. $1850 all in to the door.. and tactical girls calender... xooxo

I really hope they have this sale again.

You made an outstanding choice.

I picked one up last spring and put about 4000-5000rnds down range over the course of a year. Has not failed and is an amazing rifle. For the price you can't go wrong either. I was debating whether I wanted to spend the extra $2000 and get the H&K MR223 but after reading the reviews and the lastest in Recoil Magazine I'm happy I went with the LMT.

My only complaint is the pistol grip was a little small and the storage cap kept falling out. It acted as a pez dispenser.

I tricked it out with a Hogue AR grip, Blackhawk single point storm sling, Marko Mag well grip, eotech, surfire vertical foregrip weapon light, arms 40LP flip rear sight, magpul front flip with .032" post, green laser sight w/ pressure switch from marstar & knights armourment rail covers...... I love every moment we're together. LOL

5000 rnds since last spring! What kind of shooting/practice do you do?

I went with an LMT and I am happy I did. The guys at Questar were great to deal with. I think you will be more than happy with your choice!

Congrat's on the new LMT.
I'm not knocking the norky M4, the price is right.
But the fit , finnish & feel of the LMT is well worth the price.
I run with a LMT Defender 2000 CQB 14.5 with Aimpoint M3 2moa.
1000 rounds so far.....and zero problems. Eats all grains.
Now......get out there and put some rounds down range.

Well....

The price and the quality of the LMT right now with deals etc are hard to beat. If you really want an LMT then the last while has been an excellent time to get one. I also bought one. I went with the 16" MRP.

That being said at regular price. I opted for the Stag and Armalite rifles. Excellent rifles at a decent price.

Lots of good stuff out there.
