Hey,another .307 owner, excellent! That looks pretty good, where did you get the leather? Is this a scabbard for horseback? Some years ago I carried my .307 in a leather scabbard on horseback for several weeks, and it resulted in bit of bluing wear on the muzzle. No big deal really, and probaly could have been avoided by either having some sort of soft(but not water absorbing) liner, or by leaving the bottom of the scabbard open so debris doesn't collect.
By the way, what bullets do you prefer in your .307? I've tried some different ones,so far Sierra 150's are teh most accurate but I just picked up and loaded some Sierra 130gr,Winchester 150gr and Speer 150gr Deepcurls. When the weather improves,we'll see how they shoot.
I'm thinking I may need a case like that for my .307 now...

I got the leather from Tandy leather, they have an online sight but i prefer to shop in store ( the have multiple locations throughout Canada)

This holster CAN be converted to go onto my saddle but i didnt feel like cutting out the little strips to make it work :p

As for ammo for my .307, its been a real b***** to find anything, all ive been ablr to find is whinchester 150gr. I just bought a bunch of brass so once i get my powder and bullets, (looking to load some Hornady Leveroution 150gr i believe) i'll be set!
