They are very limited in elevation adjustment.
Thanks guys. I'll clear up the situation a little. I'm replacing my current scope on my Ruger V/T .220 swift. It has Ruger factory integrated
medium rings. I've got a good load for it and have been using this trajectory chart with good success. Will one of these scopes handle this? This is my ground hog gun. 500yrds is all i'll ever need.
100 yrd = 0
200 yrd = .8 come up moa
300 yrd = 2.4 come up moa
400 yrd = 4.5 come up moa
500 yrd = 7.2 come up moa

Use a 1piece base and shim the scope. Gives you the clicks up you need.

just to clarify, are you using the burris rings to reduce the 20 MOA cant to keep zero?
I think with a combination of rings and bases (both increasing MOA) they should help to get close to 1000 but you will loses zero?
