Winchester Model 70 in 308

I picked up a Winchester 70 Target in 308 made in the seventy's, it has never been fired, it is mint, Has any one owned one? can you tell me anything about them? Thanks Dan.

Std 70 pushfeed action, heavy bull barrel, varmint style stock. Good rifles, generally. Nice triggers, easy to adjust.- dan

I have a Win 70 Heavy barreled varmint in .308, very nice action and with hand loads shoots ragged holes at 100 yds. Its my goto hunting rifle, little heavy for long days, but for deer in the prairies, a long day is 8:30 in the morning.
