I am thinking about getting MDT 21 chassis and having 260 made up to go with my hunting rig it is a Ruger compact in 260

so far it destroys my 308 in all areas

Here's Mine, Remington, SA ,26" stainless , heavy, fluted barrel, ATRS bolt knob.
Still can't decide if I'm going to paint it or not ( like the knife )

still hard to spot my hits under 500meters its a very fast but light recoil (I know how to shoot)

I emailed them the same question yesterday. I was told that they are going to wait and see how the Rem 700 sells first before producing a Savage version.

Anyone with some better insider knowledge as for a timeline?

Any word on a Savage version of the Tac 21?

Hey guys, quick question about these. Do you still need the bottom metal mag kit when you put these on a 700? Sorry if itsa dumb question lol.
I'm just wondering because I'm building my first rifle, and the price of these was keeping me away, but I figure if I have to buy the stock + the bottom metal piece separately it'd probably end up the same price anyway lol.

Also, what do these weigh? And what's does the whole setup weigh? Is it that much more than the regular stock setup?
