Steel Challenge at abby rod and gun UPDATE: We have legit steel!

I have some heavy springs that would work well for that.
They are approx. 2"diameter, and very stiff. Coils touch each other.

I had thought of making the plates sound better by isolating them, and possibly dishing them like gongs. This would make them much more audible.
Every shape will have a 'sweet' spot that resonates better where attached.
Some experimenting will be necessary.

Not looking like I will be able to make it this week.
Broke for gas, and bullets. My GSG is going into the gunsmith to fix the mag release. It has no spring!
Must have broken.
So no cheap shooting either.
Sorry, no heater.

ive got a full setup for 9mm 229 including holster for anyone who wants to come out and try, just send me a message or an email to let me know, just bring some ammo or let me know if you need some

I might be dead tomorrow night at this rate.

Anyhow, bring celery to distract Rob. He's now the worlds only celery eating vampire.

Maverik, did you get a lighter mainspring too?

I am taking my truck to work tonight because of the snow.
I will check my gas situation, and see if I can find a couple boxes of 9mm.
I will have to owe you for the $5 if that's ok.
Maybe I can show up?

Not Yet. Figured I would shoot it a bit to see what I want to change. Already have decided on flush safety and new grips.

@DOOK- I can cover your $5 as a "thank you" for letting me borrow your gun last time:cool:

@heavenisalie- i can bring a bunch of 2x4. Are they cut at 5'?

Got a couple emails so will post here as well

Steel is still on for tonight, advantage of steel is we are allways under cover out of the weather and the targets dont wilt when they get wet. Dress warm though
