Best Deal on a Stripped Lower?

after seeing a lower for 109$ there is no way i would pay anything more. If SGW can sell them for 109$ what price are they getting them for? Im sure it must be making at least 40-50$ a pop, so..... he is paying around 60$ each for them?

the 149$ lower, is still a 200$ lower once you factor in the tax, and shipping. With free shipping it comes to 170 ish. Still way more than the 109$ lower.

When I spoke to them on the phone it didn't sound like the next batch would be that low. Don't know exactly where they will have it, but I'm guessing it won't be $110.

welli sure they have been schooled on what they can get for them.

Best deal, would mean the cheapest when it comes to AR15. anyone who wants a stripped lower, wants one to build a unit the way they like it, for the least possible cost.

Have you seen the new pricing as of last week? Cadex lowers went way up from before. MSRP in over $600 now. On the plus side we have lots of Cadex bits an pieces coming soon...they didn't go up...just the lowers.
Ryan

Yikes.

Considering we sell it for $459.99, that's just crazy.

Possibly.

We purchased them for some builds we are doing, however a few guys saw them when they arrived and wanted them there on the spot. So we ended up putting them on the site for purchase as well.

They aren't trying to hook me up with Cadex. We've been talking for ages....they make a great product. A bunch of the guys there have been buying from me for years.

Ryan

ahhh, that's the one you were trying to hook Ryan up with.

Betcha some have lost count ;)

Forged lowers aren't necessarily a bad thing. Some think billet lowers are the end all be all, I honestly can't see why, it's not like there's any bennifits over forged aside from some cosmetic stuff, and even then there's some forged lowers out there that offer those features. I think it's just nice to have the options personally.

As far as ATRS lowers and Cadex lowers... They command a higher premium because their machining is damn near perfect, absolutely no tooling or chatter marks, they come flawless. They're also made from 7075 which adds to the cost, some argue there's no difference, but in my experience more "heavy duty" is never a bad thing. With the billet stuff you get what you pay for simple as that...

My 2 cents

Well put shooter

I guess CADEX saw what ATRS is charging ..... So they upped their price.

If I was to shell out $600 for a Canadian Billet lower, I would Go ATRS. I did once, I will do it again.

They are more because they cost more to manufacture. Our Aluminum doesn't cost much more/less than theirs. The biggest single factor in pricing? Volume. Same reason why Forged lowers are cheaper.. material is cheap because they're done by the truckload. It's real easy to machine a forged lower, not so much so when you're cutting from a block. So all billet lowers are inherently more expensive.

Or 4 of ours. ;)

We've been running a new blender & tumbler to enhance the finish.. they're pretty hot.
