Anyone got a CZ858 with the 10 round mag adapter?

I'd really apreciate some pictures and feedback on the 10 round AR mag adapter as offered by Wolverine Supplies for the CZ858?

The average gun owner would need their local gunsmith to do the modification. I inquired with my local gun store and their gunsmith should be able to do the mod for about an hours labor charge.

Wolverine will sell the rifle with the mag adapter already installed. The install fee is not that much.

I would really love to see a video of one of these in action.

I bought the one that wolverine modified for use with the CSA adapter, but it did not feed reliably. I could only load the mag with one round and it would chamber, anymore and it would not work. Talked to the owner and he told me to send it back and they will fix it.

I am really hoping that this will work as I want to use it for 3 gun. Surplus 7.62 x 39 is much cheaper than 223. I do not really think shooting corrosive through an AR is a great idea and the XCR is quite a bit more expensive.

I will be sending mine out in a week or so to have the swap done as well. I am excited since my CZ is getting alot of mods. Most of the mods are for ergonomics but 1 is going to be looks only...lol

I am going to take before and after pics of the magazine upgrade and will do a field test report as well.

It is the B&T adapter from Wolverine that allows the use of 7.62x39 XCR "pistol" mags. Now I have 10 rounders for my cz 858!!!!!!!! Its like Xmas again!!!!!!!!!!!

Its on the site as $185.00 and will still use the CZ mags but they of course stay pinned. This is a machining process to get the adapter in so this is a permanent mod. It is well worth it to me.

They said they test fire them when they are done. Also wolverine is top notch to deal with!!,

The adapter is 185.00, the machining charges is 50.00 and then shipping the finished gun and 2 xcr mags is 40.00. The xcr mags are 29.99 a piece plus taxes. I am still looking pretty hard at doing it.

Got mine today along with my swiss arms (CC took one hell of a beating last week). Installation was really easy, nice tight fit. The machining is very well done (blows NEAs Vz handguard out of the water, or my example anyways). Mag changes are quick and easy BUT the bolt doesn't lock back on an empty mag. Haven't fired it yet but that situation should be remedied by this weekend.

I bought an already converted CSA VZ 858 from Jo Brook, It has never failed to feed or misfired in over 400 rounds. Cheap federal fmj works like a damn and as is atleast as accurate as I am

If the B&T magwell was removed could the modified rifle still use the original 858 mags?

In other words can you still go back to stock 30/5's?
