First SKS

I want to mount a cheap scope on this thing. Any advise on where to get what I need including the scope? Cheap is key.

I've been looking at this scope and mount from Marstar. For $90 I figure it's worth a shot and if it doesn't work as planned I can just put the original piece back on.

I got my first sks a couple weeks ago and I already want another. I have a 55/56 tula and want to get an izzy, yugo, one of those chinese honor guard and also one of the polish honor guards. Now to convince the wife I need them lol

That my friend is the hardest part of collecting firearms...........

Make sure you get a good file, the receiver mounts come over sized and usually need to be filed down a bit...took me about an Hour to get mine to fit right.
