Williams FP-94/36 or Lyman 66A for Win'94??

Hi,

Looking to put a peep sight on my model '94 top eject.
The two options I was looking at we're:
Williams FP-94/36 Set Receiver Peep Sight with Front Fire Sight
Or
Lyman 66A

Thoughts, recommendations, suggestions? (and reason why)

I just put a Williams FP on my model 94 in 30-30 and it easily cut my group size in half. I liked it so much I ordered another for my model 94 big bore in .375. I'm thinking about another for my 94-22. They are pretty much foolproof, and rock solid. I didn't put the firesight on the front, and I didn't have to change the front height either.

And there's also the Williams 5D-94/36 for half the price. Thoughts? Has anyone used them?

The 5D sights are okay if you will use one load forever. Sight it in once and never touch it again. If you expect to experiment or change loads, or do anything else that involves re-sighting your gun, the adjustments will drive you CRAZY. Loosen a screw, move the slide by hand, re-tighten, and repeat over and over till you get it right.

I have the williams 36 on mine, and it works great
I get on target faster and more acurate than open sight

Williams FP on my Mod 94 375 Big Bore. Absolutely love it. Looks like it really belongs there, solid and the adjustments are repeatable 1/4 moa. Way easier for my eyes than the classic buckhorn rear.

My advice. Don't get any aperature sight that does not have micorometer adjustments.
That is, turn a screw to directly adjust.
