Will heavy barrel 10/22 fit in Promag Marauder kit?

Hi guys,

Looking for a nearly new 10/22 to put in my Promag Marauder kit (thanks Jerry), and have been offered one with a heavy barrel.

Will this fit in the Marauder kit without issues? Pros and cons vs. the regular model?

Hey there,
I just put my kit together, with the regular barrel. Looking at the spacing, and talking to others, it looks like a standard barrel shoult fit in the keit no problem. The only thing is that the flash hider and fake suppressor will not fit a bull barrel -they were designed for a regular barrel. My suggestion for a bull barrel is to have the end machined with threads to take an AR15 type flash hider.

Thanks for the reply. Having thought about it i think I'm going to hold out for the standard model as I don't want the extra weight of the heavy barrel model (as my young son will be shooting the 10/22 as well).
