I'm interested in getting a Norinco 1911A1. I'd like to see some better photos of the Parkerized and Government models. The pics on the Marstar website are pretty low-res.

Which is a better choice?

I don't think they bring them in Parked any more. The good news is getting it parkerized is not that expensive and it gives you a chance to do some other modifications if you want such as sights and at the very least de-horning any sharp edges!
You could probably find an older parkerized one on the EE.
 
I would like to get a parked one (or two), but don't want to buy a blued one for $350 and then spend $200 getting it parked. I think ! would just have spent $550+ on a $350 gun ;)

Does anyone know a dealer that has the parked one in stock, or if they are bringing more in?

It was quite long times ago that marstar brought them in but doesn't seems they would like to import them or norinco didn't export them any more. I was stupid enough not to get one by that time.

Parkerize it your self after you de horn and smooth it out.
The Norks all need de-horning so a re finish if that's what you want just means you can dig a little deeper and remove unwanted stampings at the same time!
You could try a wanted to buy in the EE for one that's been smoothed out and re finished....but it will probably cost you between $400-$500.....
