M305 + Case of Ammo = $599

Well, I double checked my last email which said the same. I suppose that Ammo can only be shipped via Canpar, and must admit that mailing it along with the rifle doesn't sound like the smartest idea to me anyhow.

It's not going to delay my shooting her, so no complaints here.
 
Do you guys know what the Deal with CanPar is? I have to go to work and live in an apartment building. It's expected to get here today. Will I be able to pick it up somewhere else when I get home?

Call Canpar and give them the bar code number. They will let you know where to pick it up.

Canpar doesn't allow pickups (from when i called last week).
They will attempt to drop it off once, if you are not there they will leave a letter, fill it out to where you want it dropped off.
If you miss your second attempt or dont tell them where to send it they send it back to canadaammo

Not in Canada. You first have to call the RC's and wait 45 mins for them to get there. Once there they will look after the moose for you.;)

That sounds terribly inefficient for downtown living.

I just pick one pacel up from CanPar warehouse 2 days ago....

UPS does the same - two attempts then wait in warehouse for 1~2 weeks, then back to sender.

How do I safely open the little wooden ammo crate? Is there a trick? Or do I just pull out the nails holding the lid on?
 
Got the ammo today, kinda pissed off with them packing it with my box of 45ACP and Hornady Zombie Max both of which got kinda crush. Norinco box who cares but I wanted to keep the Zombie Max box for souvenir.
 
Bring out the sledge Hammer.

I just pry out the end piece so that box can be stored upright.

Yea that's a raw deal. Why else buy the Z ammo but for the box?

I'm sure they'll get ya straightened out.

umm, ...aren't you guys importers for Fiochi? i thought they made slugs, buckshot, etc.?
come on, you can do it. a grizzly 12.5" ghost ringer and a case of slugs combo deal. give it a shot :)
