Is there a distributor bringing them in with a longer barrel? They are prohib as they sit (104mm bbl).

I dont think they will ever be available in Canada . Been looking for months.

Looks like somebody is making extended barrels for these, not sure who though - I saw in the M&P45C thread that Bar Sto might be. It would be nice to have both a M&P9C and M&P22 I am sure that there would be a lot of support for these platforms but I guess we will just have to wait and see what North Sylva says. Maybe if we all ask really nicely...

Not sure what you're talking about? Pretty sure it does not have a thumb safety. It has a trigger safety.

Yup. If you notice in the picture with the holster the white dot on the back of the frame. That's where the thumb safety was.

Someone should step up here since there is demand.

When firearms need to be brought up to Canadian "standards" from the US that usually means a big increase in price (ie. Kel-tec SU-16 = $475US, Rob Arms XCR = $1500 MSRP, etc). Would you really want to pay 50-100% more? You could just get the real thing. I would love to get one if they were around $400 or less, but I just dont think its possible if a barrel needs to be made just for Canadians.

Look, I love the M&P and I own one myself but there are other .22's out there that have a proven track record.
