hey guys i've been watching a lot of reviews and videos of dominion arms shotguns , grizzly pump , cougar and mag fed and it seems like they have a lot of feeding and extraction issues.I'd like to get a few dom. arms but not if they are that much trouble. Is there any tweaking that can be done to these shotguns?

thanks

I dont own one but id imagine it would be the same as any other shotgun
Swap out the follower and polish the feed ramp would be a start,as for the extractor would a remington bolt/extractor work?

About a month or two into ownership my Grizzly wouldn't lock the bolt once the shell was in the chamber, a lever had jumped over a bar in the trigger mechanism. Bent the bar a little further out on reassembly and no problems in the last couple years since.

No aftermarket parts and it feeds and functions reliably.

cant speak for the DA semis or the Grizzly mag-feds since i havent owned one.
but as for the pumps - its an 870, the design isnt exactly rocket science. fit, finish and materials are actually better than a current production Express.

ive had no problems with my Grizzlies. keep in mind that a lot of people bashing the Chinese clones on here have never even handled, much less owned one.

Some littles burrs on the follower, just sand them down, no more feeding or extration troubles, simple but what a difference... JP.

Most issues I have seen are a result of the user not "taking positive and firm action" with the gun.

don't baby it.. and it will load and extract ( failing a mechanical problem) just fine

I've put 100's of rounds thru my 12.5" grizzly. Never had a problem. Like others have said, don't treat it like a delicate piece of art, rack it like a man and you should have no issues. I only have experience with the pumps, but mine is reliable and lot's o fun.

I've never had a single issue with mine after countless rounds of anything I feed it. The only changes I've made internally was a heavier sear spring, oversized safety and the police follower spring/follower. Even before that though, zero issues. These things are little tanks.
