I need help, the more I learn about black and green rifles the more I'm confused.

What I'm looking for is 1. accuracy out to 300-400 yards.
2. 223/5.56 chambered
3. 7.62x39 conversion kit
4. zombie killer
5. restricted or not
6. prefer Canadian or American made.

all for under $2000 without the 7.62x39 kit and no optics.

What would be on your list?

Thanks for the help.

You could always purchase a 7.62x39 upper for an AR15 separately. Some people might bring up the issue of locking lugs being weakened when thee bolt face is enlarged to accept the larger case. I'm not sure if that would be an issue for low volume shooting here in Canada.

What sort of accuracy are you looking for? Minute of man or precision rifle?

All I need is to hit a pie plate at 400 yards. Hope I'm not being unrealistic?

Yoda says if you use the force with all its' might and have strong grip one may hit pie plate and also make fly on plate neva to make love again, wax on wax off. :D

But seriously there are many variables involved with making accuracy. Ammo, Barrel, optics, etc.. and oh yea YOU and your abilities and so fourth.

So you want a semi, with a conversion kit, that will shoot into 2 minutes at 400 yards, at this point I have to ask - factory or handloads? If factory, well, you're going to be disappointed, if handloads, if you're very lucky you might find one that do that for you, especially in 7.62x39, there aren't a ton of "match" style bullets for that cartridge. On the other hand, most out of the box good or better quality 20 inch AR's will get close to that with match ammo.

Not looking for the 7.62x39 to hit the pie plate but would the .223 do so with factory loads and a 18 or 20 inch barrel?
And what is considered good or better quality 20 inch ARs?
Like the OP title says, I'm confused.
