Wood or no Wood?

I just re-re-finished my chinese chu wood m305 stock (because I was bored) now I cant decide how to dress this rifle up!

OR

The wood is way lighter than this synthetic stock I must say; perhaps I should just have alternate stocks for different occasions?

Synthetic is nice for some guns, but wood looks right on a 14

I must say I am suprised by how many people like the wood over synthetic - I did ask my wife, she preferred synthetic, but I didn't word it in the same way

I agree with Otokiak - buy another rifle! That's what I'm gonna do when I have money for a second build! One USGI syn, scoped and one iron-sited walnut.

Wood! USGI Walnut and I ditched the scope and rubber butt plate.

I have this too, but like the wood better.

Then there is this, a Chu wood painted with truck bed liner. It sits and gathers dust as does a SA fiber.

the wood looks better. but how do they shoot. i think a range report is in order. try em both. I'm curious if the synthetic will shoot better than wood. ??
