Wood or no Wood?

the wood looks better. but how do they shoot. i think a range report is in order. try em both. I'm curious if the synthetic will shoot better than wood. ??

I may have to bring both the the range next time - the synthetic (I think springfeild?) is extreamly rigid and heavy. Chu wood is not known as being all that strong, but it sure is light and will make standing shots easier I would imagine.

Hmmmmm maybe after the snow is gone I'll take all 4 out and bench them one at a time. Now, how much of the Norc machine gun ammo do I have left.... let's see here, me thinks it's time for a re-supply.

I must say I am suprised by how many people like the wood over synthetic - I did ask my wife, she preferred synthetic, but I didn't word it in the same way

A Walnut stock glass bedded would be a far better platform for accuracy than syn or fiber I would think...the only stocks you see at NM competitions are wood with the exception of McMillan fiber.
