$2,132 for a Norinco CQ-A

Wages are not that great unless you live in say the top 20%? I'm not 100% sure but if your working class like me you tend to get screwed badly. And a big thank you to NEA for giving a damn. I'm hoping to have my 14.5" soon. They on the plane yet?

Koodoo's to NEA on spreading Canadian made AR's around the world. Lets screw the U.S. state department. NEA do you have to modify your rifles for the NZ market ?

Have you seen how much they are selling a Savage Axis for!! $899 and it says $290 off sale!! WTF. We pay $290 for a Savage Axis. Yet the CZ 550 is close to what they go for around here $1120. The Sako 85 Bravarian is $1000 more then what it goes for here. I then looked at their handguns. $1299 for a CZ-75B!

Gun City is among the extreme of what gun shops here charge

Primers cost maybe .9 -.10 cents each, about $NZ60-90 for half a KG of powder, about $30 for a box of 100 55gr Hornady .224 pills. Nothing here is cheap.

Primers and powder cost you about 2x what it costs us... wow... sucks being on an Island sometimes... Bullet prices aren't too bad though, maybe about $5/100 more than us.

$300!!! For a 30 round magazine! I could buy a new Ruger 10/22 for that.

One reason these are so expensive is our police enforce a blanket "hand - in" policy on all E catergory firearms and parts. To import a 30 round mag you have to hand an equivalent in for destruction otherwise they won't issue an import permit. This policy is probably illegal but will continue until it gets taken to court.

That don't make any sense, how do they know if a mag was imported legally

It's funny that suppressors are Taboo in Canada or other places, there is absolutely no restrictions on them here, almost everybody who has a gun license has a suppressed rifle of some kind now, even if it's just a suppressed .22LR. The sky here doesn't fall and babies don't die because of it either. There is no logic in restricting them, if anything they are safety devices.
The modern liberal makes decisions viscerally. Logic does not come into play.
