Remington 700 police stock?

Well you could add a removable mag system and add an adjustable rest to your current stock. Would probably be the lowest cost method.
Otherwise there are the usual suspects like Robertson, McMillan, AICS, etc

I went with the AICS in 2.0 Version! Never looked back. Owned 2 x McMillans, I loved them too, but by the time you buy the bottom magazine metal setup, the magazines (hopefully AICS), get the unit inletted, you are pretty close to the AICS rigs!
Pick what works for you, your budget and your game! Also, the LCF, look cool factor!

I know you said 'isn't too expensive' but take a look at Cadex Defence Strike 30 Chassis. It cost me a fair penny but I was sooo happy with it I had to buy one.
Do you like the standard stock on the police model? I have the 700P LTR & wasn't overly satisfied with it.
If you need a cheek piece for that rifle, get the Eagle Industry cheek piece, it fit very well and very comfortable to shoot with, the original stock are very good, there is no need to replace the stock. I got just about 1 of these for every rifle I own, it got a pouch for paper work, also you can put extra ammo on the side. as for detachable mag, there is after market bottom metal and mag kit that require minor fitting.
They are available through One Shot Tactical or you can buy one from Cadex Defence direct.... if you're looking for a price make sure you sit down when you hear it.
