Ontario Hunting License

Anyone know if there is any reciprocal agreement for hunting licenses for people moving from BC to Ontario? Or am I going to have to start over with training in Ontario? Any suggestions for local gun clubs in the Kemptville / Spencerville area?

If you're in the Kemptville/Spencerville area, Smith Falls Fish & Game Club (Range) is probably the closest...

As long as you can produce proof of hunting experience and/or a hunting license from another jurisdiction, you should be could to go in Ontario.

When I moved from BC to kitchener-waterloo 6 yrs ago, I had to take the test but could challenge it without doing the course. Is just like the BC hunting course.

I recently moved to Ontario from Manitoba, I have to write the test but as mentioned above can do so without sitting through the course.

You will have to write the test otherwise you will only qualify for a Non-res license in Ontario
