Barrel done?

Guys, how do I know when my barrel is done? I have a Sig Sauer p226 that I bought used with unknown round count. I must have put approximately 3000 rounds in it myself. I just find the gun slightly inaccurate and I am wondering if its due to the barrel being shot. the black finish on the barrel is pretty much worn on certain parts of the barrel, you can clearly see the stainless finish on it. I will post pics to re clarify later but if anyone has anything to say besides search the website (already tried, computer illiterate) it would help.

I am sure that your barrel is fine. I would do an intensive cleaning with a proper solvent and bronze brush + a copper solvent treatment. Then re inspect the bore, make sure the rifling is bright and clean so you an see the grooves. Inspect the crown if it's not damage.
