Search is your friend. There are countless m305 threads discussing this very issue. I'm sure some will pipe in with responses here too. Bottom line is its a great value for a semi 308.

Hammer forged one piece.
Of the USGI oprod manufacturers, TRW and possibly SAK oprods were the ONLY ones made of 1 piece, hammer forged. H&R, springfield and winchester were all 2 piece, welded together.
Chinese oprods are not bad but can have less than optimum tab dimension, which in turn can cause slop.
If an oprod of any type tends to "jump" from it's track or exhibits an upward movement at the rear of the stroke... 2 things could be causing this.
Barrel index and subsequent oprod guide position OR the oprod arm and tube are out of true or in simple terms... Bent.

ya, there is alot of propaganda about these things, fact remains that with a good oprod guide and spring, you probably dont need to change much else. Just my 2 cents.
Make sure it is a 7075 T6 or validium spent uranium chrome alloy, or else your #### will fall off.

Did you read my little discovery of the difference between the USGI spec and the Norky Op-rods? Check out the blown roller and the op-rod photos I posted.
PS My bolt roller has now seen about 200 rounds and no issues.
Ya, blown out rollers and oprods are a usual problem with them I guess, unless you have a spent Uranium 707700, with chrome molidmium alloy steel. May or may not work for you otherwise? My #### is still OK after 500 rounds, just lucky I guess?
