VZ 58 Muzzle Devices [PIC HEAVY]

I'm not sure whether to get a Czech military flash hider or the AK74 birdcage flash hider. Anyone have experience with both of them??? Ive heard of good things from both flash hiders. It would be for the 7.62x39 version. Also does anyone know where I could get the AK74 version if it is better?

I don't think you can get a real AK-74 brake with the required expansion chamber that will fit a VZ58 even using an adapter. The ones that fit the VZ58 directly are nonfunctioning clones, that should make it easy.

Also any AK varriant muzzle deviece screws on the barrel in a different direction. Plus the best flash hidder to date is the NAV from Dlask Arms Corp. Trust me I have almost tried them all. It is pictured here and ressembles the SEI Vortex although it is different in design.

Have you used the czech military one? And will it decrease recoil as well as be a flash hider???? BTW thanks in advance for the input.

Also where did you get the grip??? And is it better than the fab defense one?

And how is that magpul foregrip? Ive seen it everywhere....

One of the very first cat to get a Hogue grip for the AK that was modded for the 858 by ridgearms. Liked it way better than the FAB or the stock one although I now swaped it out for the Magpul MAID AR pistol grip visa-vise Stevo mod.
As for the the flash hidder that looks like the FAL flash hidder it's all right but at dimmer times of the day and on a short barreled rifle you will still see the bright light sometimes. As for the half flash/half muzzle brake...
Well lets just say you can either do one or the other well and when they try to combined them it never works out well including that model that you are reffering too. Although I still have to say besides my friend 2 chamber proto type brake the stock military brake is still my favorite.
Now for the AFG this is the only rifle platform that I like to have this on as the 858 magazine reload is a rock and lock system and I find that forward grips always get in the way.

I sent ridgearms a PM, hoping he might have more in stock as I really like the look of that grip (or possibly you still have yours for sale). I cant seem to find the NAV flash hider online for some reason...possibly poor googling skills. I even checked Dlask's website. I think i will probably stick to the czech military one, unless the NAV is around the same price (better to support local business).

Bonesteel Arms and maybe a few others make an AK-74 style "brake" that will fit the VZ58 threads, however these are basically nonfunctioning look-alikes.

Then I was wrong and I appologize.
The receiver serial # that I have seeen on my monitor
did not look like the same number as on the selector.
Great looking gun. Thanks for sharing.

Don't worry.
It happened quite a few times
that people believed I was Dlask.

So, matty, I have asked Clobbersauras to make sumpin for you
so you'll be happier.
He made this muzzlebrake/compensator for you.
He sez it will kinda compensate for your small ####.
Let us know if it works.

God that looks good!

Seeing the VZ/CZ in here really make me want a legit 58/858!

Maby I will have to sell my Krinker plinker and put a down payment on one of these!

Guys, I bought a DLASK xb3 flashider for my CSA 556.

The threads are different and it does not fit?

Are the threads on the csa556 versions different from the standard 762x39 cz858? Or did DLASK send the wrong one?
